bukwrm asked: Oh my gosh. About fighting in healthy relationships. Yes. I've never had a model for arguing and not being like hugs and kisses and rainbows in a healthy relationship, so every time my girl and I disagree on something I'm just like... slink away, go hide, she hates me now and will never want to see me again because we yelled at each other and that is unconditionally Bad. I'm working on changing my response but it's difficult because anger and yelling equals Hate and Bad and Go Away Forever.

Yeah it took me years to figure out that fighting with my friends was normal and that it didn’t mean the friendship was ending.  I don’t know how I finally got used to it, but at this point I’m like more okay with fighting in relationships than most people seem to be, weirdly enough.
