Perhaps it’s not the (farcical) idea that autistic people don’t have a sense of humour.
Maybe your jokes are just shite.
I remember reading in an Uta Frith book, about a study where autistic people didn’t laugh at jokes from cartoons in the New Yorker. And I remembering hearing a nonautistic person comment, “Who does laugh at those jokes, anyway!?!?”
