Deep-sea yeti crabs nourishing bacterial gardens on their arms. The waving motion ensures the bacterial “fur” receives the oxygen and sulfur it needs to grow. The crabs snack on their yummy arm fur for food.
For youneedacat: If anyone ever says the deep sea is lifeless and barren, tell them it’s actually full of awesome stuff like this.
