Does anyone have any good information on writing accessible English?
I don’t mean things aimed at governments and businesses to have them write things in ways that ordinary people understand. Those are good things, but they’re not what I’m looking for. I’m looking for things I know I remember from somewhere but I can’t find them. They were guides to writing plain English so that people with cognitive disabilities could more easily understand things. I think they’d be useful in this conversation. I can’t find them anywhere. And I’m looking specifically for things geared towards accessibility for people with cognitive disabilities, not for things geared towards accessibility for just the general public.
If anyone could provide me links, I’d be really happy.
