Anonymous asked: I think what Mia Mingus means by 'access intimacy' is like when you go to someone's house, for example, and they've fixed up all the things that would get in your way or be upsetting or make it inaccessible because they know what you need & remember it & care enough about *you specifically* to do it. Like the kind of intimacy when one disabled person helps the other without needing to make a big deal out of it, just because you know what they need and what they've given you permission to do.
