Does anyone else have tips?
I know that it’s very hard for me sometimes, because I have to keep the lies straight, and that’s a pain in the ass, so I don’t do it too often.
But I would think it would be a matter of somehow finding ways to remind yourself of situations in which lying is necessary, and then going from there.
(Also something I didn’t realize – it’s also okay to lie to protect your privacy. I had to be taught that explicitly. That if someone is asking extremely invasive questions, it’s okay to tell them something that isn’t quite true, or isn’t true at all, if nothing else will get them to stop prying. I had no idea.)
How to remember, is the problem, and I don’t have any answers. Maybe other people would know. Like ways to signal to yourself “this is a situation where telling the truth could do harm to someone”.
I’m not exactly an expert on lying, I just know that I'm willing to do it now, to a degree I didn’t used to be.

Thank you.
