I assume this originated as from/by someone in the transgender community. But it occurs to me that it could also be applicable to people with visible disabilities, and also some people with less recognizable disabilities.

Yeah I appreciate it both as a genderless person and as a disabled person.

And this is the sort of thing I meant when I talked about how different oppressed groups get so afraid of accidentally equating things in each form of oppression that aren’t equatable, that we don’t talk enough about how we do identify with things from each other, and find solidarity in that.  I honestly think having the conversations is far better than fearing the conversations for fear of being wrong or saying the wrong thing, but what do I know?
