Anonymous asked: I read what you wrote about clicking with people who are autistic and that being a pretty good indicator that you're autistic or a cousin. I have SPD and possibly dyslexia and issues with coordination and I've spent my life in tutoring for math and I still can't do simple addition. I can hardly tell left from right and some of my best friends have been autistic and I didn't know until years later. Could I actually be? It runs in my family...or is it just my SPD?

SPD as in semantic-pragmatic disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder, or Schizotypal Personality Disorder?  Because all three can be connected to autism, weirdly enough, especially if you’ve had them since childhood.  (There was an entire book on whether schizoid and schizotypal children were autistic, back in the day.  And I was diagnosed with ‘schizoid features’ before they diagnosed autism.)
