Ohhh. I was diagnosed with it when it was called Sensory Integration Dysfunction. They keep changing the name of it. My brother and I are both autistic and both also have that. The thing about SPD is that it can stand alone, but it can also be an outgrowth of autism – not a thing of its own, but like… when doctors look at an autistic person they might pull apart a few bits that are actually autism, and call them SPD because it may get services or because they really don’t see it as part of autism even when it is.
