for what its worth this post made me giggle even though I’m having a pretty shitty day too (pun unintended)

I am so glad!

I get this response to my toilet humor a lot.

And I love it.

Because I really do think that there are things you just have to laugh at, and things that come out of your ass are one of them.

I understand it’s not everyone’s sort of humor, or post (I didn’t tag this one as humor because it wasn’t quite intended as such, but it could certainly be taken that way) so I try to tag it as much as I possibly can.  Because I don’t want to just gross people out.

But farts?  Shit?  Butt pills?  Totally hilarious in my book and when they all go together like that… plus honestly having a bad day that involves things that come out of or go into your butt, just makes the bad day more epic and therefore more funny to read or write about.  Something about butts and bowels makes things more epic in general.

I know, I know, I have the sense of humor of a 13-year-old boy, but there are worse senses of humor to have.  Especially when you have a disability that requires dealing with disgusting things on an everyday basis.  I have a staff person where we actually sit there and try to top each other with gross descriptions of my bile when we’re burping it out of my g-tube.

At some point she started calling the clogs in my j-tube ‘tapeworms’ because they’re long and thin when we pull them out.  And the other day, another staff person saw me pull out about five at a time into a syringe, and then she was like “It’s a whole family!  Look, there’s a mommy and a daddy and a few babies…”  And like… this is how I survive the utter grossness that is my feeding tube at times.

And I am always, always happy if I can brighten someone else’s day with the grossness of my life.  Seriously, I am.  That’s one reason I post these things.  I know a lot of people actually appreciate this kind of humor.  (I’m looking at you, Snee…..)
