i agree with julia about that post
in that… it’s not really so cool to write autistic characters and have being a brilliant jerk being the way you show them as autistic.
like, if autistic people headcanon them that way, that’s one thing…
but like, autistic people *are disabled*, not just brilliant jerks
and that matters
I may agree with Julia too, btw. I haven’t made up my mind. I just didn’t like that someone felt bad about contradicting her. Because contradicting Big Name Activists shouldn’t have to be scary or heretical. Whether you’re right or wrong.
