Can people please quit taking things I said entirely out of their original context
and then reading things into them that I didn’t say (and clearly reading it in, saying things like “well sie didn’t SAY it but sie sure seemed like sie MEANT it…” is a clear warning sign that whatever you think I said, I didn’t say, or mean), and then having entire conversations about how awful my (mostly imaginary, in your head) viewpoints are. All because I said one thing, in one context, once, and you’re determined to make it a broader and more dangerous statement than it actually was, because then you can actually argue against it and talk about how dangerous my views are (or would be, if I was saying anything at all like you thought I was saying, which I wasn’t, but you never even asked me).
I mean seriously this kind of thing pisses me off. At least be mad at me for things I’ve said and done, not things that you’ve read into what I’ve said and done, not things I’ve said and done put into contexts that were never intended to hold them.
And the never even asking me, the tiptoeing around asking me, the telling everyone in the vaguest of vague terms (but always pointing back to me from a distance) about this person who said this thing, but never actually talking to the person who said the thing and finding out what they meant by the thing, better to just point and whisper.
