Confused

Sometimes the ends justify the means, and sometimes they don’t.

By which I mean… sometimes there are no good options. Sometimes you do things because you have to. Like, violence and such. Coercion and manipulation of various sorts.

I don’t know where the lines are.

For a long time I tried to avoid having any power over anyone ever as a way to evade dealing with this issue.

That’s not a solution though, in part because you can’t actually do it. But also in part because… pacifism isn’t a solution, it’s buck-passing.

I don’t know. I’m confused.
