My name is Molly, I’m a 25 year old, physically disabled transwoman, and I need a place to stay.  I’m fleeing an emotionally abusive household in a rural area where I can’t get counseling, support, help with my transition, or necessary medical treatment for my disability.  Unfortunately, my disability progressed recently to the point that I’m now unable to work, but I haven’t been able to secure federal disability income yet, so my options are very limited.

I’m unable to contribute to rent/utilities, but I do have a little money saved for expenses like transportation, and I have SNAP benefits that I’m more than happy to share.  My mobility is limited, but I can walk with the aid of a cane and sometimes a knee brace; wheelchair-accessible is not a requirement, but more than a half-dozen stairs is probably more than I can handle.  Close to public transit would be best, so I can get around the city for appointments and interviews and such.  I don’t know how long I’ll need a place to stay, but if you can only offer temporary space, that’s fine as long as you let me know upfront so I can try to make other arrangements in advance.

I have no history of substance abuse, I don’t smoke, and my only dietary restrictions are a mild allergy to shellfish and artificial sweeteners.  Fine with pets, children, smokers, drinking; crowds aren’t a problem, I’m very social and friendly.
