My name is Alex and I am a 16 year old trans guy. I am currently staying with my mother at our family home but I have been threatened with homelessness or going to live with my abusive father many many times. I currently share a room with my mother and have no privacy, this is especially bad seeing as I am guy and shes a female obviously. I can legally move out and live alone now but I am unable to get housing benefits to allow me to do this until I am no longer living in the family home.

I am due to start work in the next two weeks, one temporary (4 day) position at a clothing store and a longer full time position at a Theme Park in the area. Due to this I will be able to help pay towards rent/food/wifi or anything else i’m asked too.

I am able to get around easily due to mostly free transport via buses and so will not need help travelling. 

I will happily stay in South East London, Surrey or Chertsey or any of the surrounding areas.
