Asking for help. On the 14th our power is getting turned off, right now it is unknown what amount of money will be needed to keep it on but the current amount due is $3,900. The only reason why they didn’t shut it down before now is because my father requres a breathing machine at night for his sleep apnea.
I had no idea the bill had been getting so high. I have money coming, a settlement, and a job with my tribe designing the clinics new logo, but I don’t see either of those coming in on time.
I am on disability, I live with anxiety and I need power to function. I need background noise constantly. Just the idea of having to spend an unknown amount of time without power .. I can’t even imagine how hard it will be. If I can’t get enough to keep the lights on here (and fans, my body cannot handle heat) I hope to get enough to possibly pay my aunt to rent one of her basement rooms.
