So I had tried to go the cheap route for my five elements charm bracelets, and it backfired really badly.  Because I corrode cheap metals, and it left all the clasps rotting (rotted through two clasps already) and all this black and green stuff all over my arm.  So I found the cheapest silver-plated stuff I could find, transferred it over, and hopefully no more gross corrosion on my arms.
