so… I wasn’t aware that it’s a bad idea to take NSAIDs if you have gastro issues, which I have had my whole life + my family has a history of various gastro diseases & cancers, but I’ve been on them for 5 years (at 2,000 mg a day!!!!) and just… no one has fucking mentioned this to me at all….
i need to find a new rheumatologist.
Holy shit. Yeah they should have told you that, right away, at the outset. I can’t take NSAIDs except for brief time-limited periods around injuries, and even then they fuck up my stomach something awful. And my stomach is already fucked up enough, given that it’s paralyzed and crap.
