I created a gofundme under the suggestion of a few people. I had my son on May 2nd this year. I worked right up until the end of my pregnancy, and my manager assured me multiple times that i’d be able to return after cleared by my doctor at my 6 week postpartum exam. 6 weeks went by, and I found out my manager replaced me before i’d even left work. I am not protected by any laws as I did not qualify for FMLA leave. As a result, we are struggling to cover basic necessities, and have recieved a 5 day notice to either pay up or vacate the premises by my birthday- July 14th. For the past couple weeks, i have been frantically trying to find a job, all to no avail. My fiance barely makes more than minimum wage. We are desperate. Anything helps. I’ve been trying to keep from asking anyone.for anything without giving in return. I was trying to promote my blog for my beadwork in hopes that it would bring in extra income to prevent this from happening. Its littlebirdaccessories.tumblr.com for anyone who may be interested.
