Another dad shirt! I love my dad shirts.  I don’t know why I didn’t acquire a small collection of dad shirts sooner.  They somehow look very much my dad, and very much me at the same time, and it’s wonderful and feels comfortable and like I’m at home with him and connected to him all the time. These are the shirts I always saw him wearing growing up, usually with jeans.  Not usually suspenders, although my great-uncle wears suspenders.  I wonder if my parents still have the picture of me and my great-uncle, in suspenders and near-identical outfits, with near-identical haircuts.  I lost those pictures somewhere along the line and would love copies. Basically the formula for my dad-shirt aesthetic is my brimmed hat with jay feathers in it, a dad shirt, suspenders, a pair of pants (maybe jeans, maybe not), and some kind of shoes, right now I’m favoring those conservative leather ones I got, but I might also try those suede boots.  Neither of which are like my dad’s shoes, but they are like my shoes.
