I don’t usually Sort famous people.

But it just struck me that Dolly Parton seems like the ultimate Slytherpuff, and I think that really confuses people about her (mostly people only willing to see one or the other).  (Note to any fans:  I’m a Dolly Parton fan myself, and a Hufflepuff, and I don’t see Slytherin as meaning automatically evil.  But she’s ambitious and cunning in spades, and people in the industry underestimate that to their peril, that’s why the Slytherin side.  And the Hufflepuff is… it comes out a lot in her songs and how she sees herself, but I can’t explain it.  You see it in her sentimental, honest, straightforward, earthy side. They’re both very intensely expressed.)
