• 4. If you were in class, where would you normally sit?

I think I’d like to sit near the back, where people can’t see what I’m up to.  Maybe not right at the back, but close.  Other times, though, sitting near the teacher means fewer distractions.  Hard decision to make.

In one of my classes, I was only allowed a seat when another student was absent.  Which meant the other kids would tell me “Stop it, you’re sitting on Simran.”  Or something equally obnoxious.  I requested a desk of my own, and my teacher made me a laughingstock by ordering two giant old teachers’ desks at the back of the room and making me sit in one.  He put on my report card that I had a ‘great sense of humor’, which actually translated into 'sie gets laughed at a lot, including by the teacher, but sie doesn’t complain’.

So seating became an… issue… for me.  I’m still not sure where I’d sit given the choice.  But the back and the sides feel most comfortable.

• 5. What do you think you’ll be doing right now?

Snuggled up in my Hufflepuff bed with a Hufflepuff blanket like the one I just crocheted, curled up in a big fluffy ball and waiting for sleep.  But comfortable even if I don’t sleep.  Just curled up in a ball with my eyes closed, doing nothing, soaking up the atmosphere of my dorm room and feeling content and happy.  With my cat curled up right near my face, her cheek touching mine.   Maybe crocheting, if I’m doing anything, and working on spells to make crocheting easier.

• 42. What will your boggart be?

The idea that I’ve done something so horrible to someone (or more than one someone) that it can’t possibly be fixed, can’t be made better, and will make me a bad person for the rest of my life.  I think.  That’s what comes to mind, i have other bad fears but that one is among the worst.  And I’ve had bullies deliberately play on it before, set up situations that make it look like I’d done that when I hadn’t.  It was awful until I learned to see through them.

• 47. If you were invited to join the slug club, will you accept the invitation?

Ew.  No.  I was once “collected” by a female Horace Slughorn in real life.  She liked to collect disabled people and indigenous people (and best of all, disabled and claim we had spiritual powers.  I would never put myself in that position again.  She talked about us like we were her belongings.  The only reason I would join the Slug Club is if I needed to somehow get information, or otherwise infiltrate it for a reason.  But not on its own.  Never.

• 48. Will you consider becoming a professor in hogwarts after school?I

I’ve never thought about it before.  If my memories of Hogwarts are as bad as my other school memories, I would not want to go back.  On the other hand, there’s always been, as long as I was in school, the temptation to go back and do things better than my teachers did.  So I don’t really know.
