snowhyte replied to your post:yesterday you posted about food; coincidentally, i was actually about to ask, if it’s okay with you, if eating food can be done when you have a tube. i know it probably varies by person/condition, but say you want to have lunch with a friend; is that doable? what was the issue that made your tube necessary? (i do remember you saying there was quite a battle involved with some ableist doctors.) if these questions are not okay, i apologize.
I’m celiac and eating things I shouldn’t and making myself sick for weeks, even for something small is such a huge issue.those gums are a great ‘compromise’ when i crave something, they’re a blessing.im glad to hear someone else finds them helpful too!
I’m almost glad to hear someone else does this. I’ve felt extremely sheepish over the whole matter, because until now I’ve had no appetite, and now suddenly I get intense cravings for food.
