Yeah, I don’t want to be depressing or anything, but it looks like some of the bullies have already gotten onto your page and are listing everything you were ever diagnosed with (and some things you weren’t— you weren’t ever formally diagnosed with DID, right? I thought you were just self-identifying that way at one point). Apparently trying to play up the “this person has every mental illness ever and is not really autistic” angle. :\

Wow, I haven’t looked at my Wikipedia article in awhile.  At this point it’s kind of bizarre in that it contains virtually no information about what made me “notable” enough to be on Wikipedia in the first place (news articles about me, things present in those articles) and now just contains random factoids.  Even some of the stuff that isn’t exactly a problem that it’s inaccurate, is inaccurate.

It doesn’t say I was diagnosed with DID though, just dissociative disorder.  Which is accurate (I was diagnosed with DDNOS), and I’d even say that was an accurate diagnosis at the time, just not for any reason that had to do with plurality in any way.  I dissociated a lot, and severely, to deal with physical pain, among other things.  They didn’t know about the pain so they’d say things like “maybe she just has a biological tendency to dissociate”.  

I figure they’re going to do what they want with it.  It doesn’t contain wildly inaccurate information, nor anything I’ve kept hidden from the world.  They’ll probably make it much worse eventually (they’ve already tried multiple times, the degree to which it’s worse comes and goes with the edit wars), and I’ll still continue to exist.  Because that’s what they really want, is to X me (a la Madeleine L’Engle), and they’ll never get the satisfaction.  Because I exist, and I’m real, I’m far more genuine as a person than they are, and no matter how much they want that not to be true, and no matter how much they want to make others believe it’s not true, they can’t take that away from me, ever.

Luckily, there are moderators and standards for Wikipedia, and anything that violates their policies on Biographies of Living People will be removed.  

Yes, that’s why it’s not far worse than it is.  But what can be done, is using actual facts about my life and choosing ones that make me look as bad as possible, and I can see they’ve at least attempted to do that.  I mostly make a habit of not caring too much, because life’s too short to think about stalkers.  Especially given that these are stalkers who would dearly love it if I spent as much time thinking of them as they spend thinking of me.  (Which is way the fuck too much time.  These are largely people with families and jobs, I don’t know how they manage to spend as much time on me as they do.  I rarely think of them, which doubtless bothers them to no end.)
