libroslectori: I have a pet banana slug right now. I got him to show to the kids in my unit at day camp, and let them vote on a name. They chose ‘Bob,’ but I have recently renamed him ‘Sir Sluggy’ because he seems very dignified. Banana slugs make surprisingly good pets, and don’t require a lot of care (you just have to mist them with dechlorinated water a couple times a day and give them lots of dandelion greens and give them a decent sized space to inhabit).
