Lava reminds me of Shadow – Anne’s cat.  Or Shadow reminds me of lava, not sure which.  He reminds me of brightly glowing lava.  And liquid sunlight.  And deep-orange colored amber glowing from within.  All combined into one cat.  And he exists like that incredibly well – I mean, he’s very good at letting all of those things come through with a beautiful and amazing personality to match them.  All of Anne’s cats are amazing that way.
