There’s a cat that keeps coming into the yard to drink the water we have out for birds and stuff.

Mom’s seen kittens with her.

I’m wondering if maybe we should call someone? She doesn’t seem to have any ID or anything and she’s just wandering around with these kittens.

She’s a pretty kitty, I’d adopt her if I wasn’t horribly allergic to cats.

Sounds like she might be a feral cat?

There are organizations out there that help specifically with feral cats.  You might want to search the internet for “(your area) feral cats”.  They can help you trap her, make sure she’s spayed and find homes for the kittens and *maybe* even the mom!

If there aren’t any feral cat care organizations - ask your local shelter, they might have people who know what to do.

If you don’t have anyone in your area - you might have to Do It Yourself a little.  There are guides online.

Anyway I hope momma and kittens do well!

There’s questions about finding feral cats outside and what to do, and you should probably read them before doing anything.   Generally if you take a feral cat or feral kittens to a shelter, they will be killed because they can’t be adopted.  So be very careful.
