feliscorvus: This semi-feral cat family has stayed together by choice. The smaller tabby in the center is called Rosie, the tabby to her right is her daughter Buttercup, and the black kitty to the left is her other daughter Olive; her son Buddy hangs around too but he wasn’t in frame for this picture. Rosie is about 5 years old and her “kids” are around 4. Rosie used to be a very shy feral girl but when she had kittens, my partner’s parents managed to coax her into their bathroom. She willingly stayed there and raised the babies until they were old enough to be spayed/neutered. She was then spayed herself and they have all lived happily as semi-tame neighborhood cats ever since. :D
