I’m done with the book I was reading and have a wonderful Kindle gift card for my birthday from Neil. So…book recommendations, anyone? I tend to be pretty eclectic in my reading. My only caveats are no books that are exclusively focused on romance and no books about World War II in any form.
Depends on what you’re in the mood for. I have a few favourite authors I can recommend, in a bunch of different genres.
Meredith Ann Pierce’s Firebringer trilogy (unicorns) is excellent, and better is her Darkangel trilogy (vampires and lots of magic).
I love recommending those books to people. If there’s something else you’d be interested in, I just need to have an idea of genre. :)
Diane Duane’s Feline Wizards series? The Book of Night With Moon, and To Visit The Queen. It’s an attachment to her Young Wizards series, but I like the Feline Wizards even better. Because they actually act like cats, at least closer to how cats act than any cats I’ve ever read in fantasy literature, ever.
