Anne! (:

I’m Diana Barry, it says. “Diana Barry” is one of my dad’s nicknames for me, which I always thought was just because we have the same first name, but I guess we have more in common than I thought.

Anne. Not a surprise.

Marilla.

Umm… interesting.

It says, “You are the ultimate duty fulfiller. You respect tradition and are keen to keep all traditions in place with a sensible spirit to boot. While it’s hard for you to express your feelings, your emotions are a deep well filled to brimming. You are loyal and caring to everyone you love, even if you can be a strict disciplinarian. You are always there for the people that matter to you. Serious and logical, you do however have a romantic side and a similar temperament to Anne. There’s also a surprisingly funny sarcastic tone to everything you say.”

It also says I’m probably an ISTJ.  (I’m supposedly an ISFP, but I don’t give such things a lot of credence anyway.)

But actually I could see myself in Marilla, or her in me, surprisingly enough.  I wasn’t sure what character I’d get at all, because I’ve never identified strongly with Anne or anything, but Marilla is probably a better fit than anyone else I can think of.

Weird, I got Marilla too. :p I don’t think I am quite as…repressed as she is but I would say I am more like her than like Anne, despite sharing a name (and despite having been the same way about insisting people spell it right, with an ‘e’.).

I think in my case it might be because I have this weird conservative/traditionalist streak despite it not always being apparent on the surface (and not playing out in the ways most people would expect from those words).
