autistic-mom asked: I have a handful of NOS labels myself. PDDNOS, DDNOS, bipolar NOS, and psychotic disorder NOS. And maybe I'm forgetting some. Also, regarding reading things other than words, I read faces very well and can sense hostility in faces that most people deny. But I've found women give me hostile faces more than men do, personally. The type of women who call me sweetie, honey, and baby when they start talking, even now despite my age. I'm in the southern US, so people don't see the problem.

Ohhh yes that kind of thing.  I get that kind of hostility a lot too.  Oh I forgot I think another NOS dx I had was depressive disorder NOS.  I had a couple different doctors who were very fond of NOS diagnoses, because it didn’t “label” people as much, in their eyes.  Not quite sure how that works.
