I got bullied a lot because I wanted to fit in and Not Be Me but at the same time the social cues have never come to me. Even as a teenager I was accused of being attention-seeking because I desperately wanted acceptance and someone to understand.

That’s exactly how I was seen, I think.  And that past still comes after me sometimes, no matter how I am today.  But even then, I didn’t deserve it, so… yeah.   I just don’t get the way people look at vulnerable people and go “STEP ON THEM, IT’S FUN”.
