Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what I think about assisted suicide, other than having huge reservations about the way it’s explained to people versus what actually happens.

But I do know that I don’t understand the whole concept that “dying with dignity” means someone putting you to sleep.

I came into this world fighting. If I leave it fighting too, that won’t be any kind of affront to my “dignity.”

Yes.

If there’s something undignified about medical care and disability, we should be working to fix the medical system, not working to further dehumanize already devalued people.
