So, a lot of people have expressed interest in an Animorphs re-read—or first time read, for some. I’m willing to assume responsibility for arranging the schedule and posting reminders, but I really envision this as being a very informal thing. I have no desire to be a Supreme Leader a la Megamorphs 3-AU Jake. People can participate in as much or as little as they like. In addition to posting under the Animorphs tag, we could have a tag specifically for the re-read.

So if you’re interested, reblog, or PM me if you prefer, with when you’d like to start. If you have any ideas for a tag, share that as well. If left to my own devices I’ll undoubtedly come up with something very creative like AnimorphsReread.

The re-read would include all 54 regular series books, 4 Megamorphs books, and 4 Chronicles books, read in the order of publication. Unless someone objects strenuously, I think we can jettison Alternamorphs. If the re-read includes people who haven’t yet read or finished the series, we would utilize some kind of spoiler policy.

If you want to participate but do not have access to some or all of the books, you can find massive PDF files here. Hopefully the obnoxious Scholastic will let those files stand for a while.
