if your post about autism is one huge block of text w no paragraph breaks its inaccessible and it kinda defeats the purpose

Unfortunately conflicting accessibility needs exist.  Some autistic people are able to alter their text to make it more accessible.  Some are not.  This is where we need people willing to help translate between what some people can write and other people can read.  We don’t need people blaming either the people who can only write things other people can’t read, or the people who can’t read the only things other people can write.  That won’t help, trust me, I’ve seen such arguments for decades.

I’m someone who literally writes things that I myself can’t read, so I know both sides of the equation so to speak.  I can generally only write whatever comes out, be it long or short, and often it is long.  I try to tag such posts #long and #long post, for other people’s convenience.  But I don’t always remember.  I can’t read long posts easily though, so I often can’t read my own posts.  So I know how frustrating it is to see a post and know you can’t read it.

But these are situations that are often nobody’s fault.  And the only solution is cooperation.  Where people who are able to translate from one to the other, can do so, when requested.  That’s the only solution I’ve ever seen work.
