It will never cease to be astonishing to me that people will get all bent out of shape by suggesting that one of their favorite characters might have some things in common with a particular psych label, because that would be forcing that character into a box, reducing them to only certain traits, etc.
But apparently it’s just fine and wonderful to do this to actual people.
I don’t think you’re obliged to agree with every fictional character diagnosis that comes along. I certainly don’t. But holy hell, how can people not notice the completely shitty hypocrisy here?
