Not everyone who is autistic is obviously autistic. But some people are. And there are a variety of ways that autistic people look, move, and react to the world, that other people can recognize as autistic, or as at least developmentally disabled. Of course how recognizably autistic a person is depends on two main things: The autistic person themselves, and how familiar the observer is with autism.
