cr4shkitten asked: I need some help with my mother. I'm autistic and turning 18 next week. On one hand she uses my age to shame me for my behavior ("act like the adult your are!") and on the other hand she uses my condition to completely ignore my bodily autonomy and arranges therapy forms I'm not too fond of (like CBT for autistic people) without asking me. When I called her out on trying to "assimilate" me she made fun of my "quirky" language and avoided the topic.

I wish I knew how to help.  Does anyone else?
