Anonymous asked: Hi, I've also wondered about the nonverbal thing. For example, I've seen a dad describe his 12 year old daughter as "nonverbal" in one post, and then describe her tone/speech/pronunciation in another. It never made sense to me. Thank you for explaining that some people really do consider others "nonverbal"if they don't communicate in a strictly standardized and specific way. I really did not realize this.

Yeah that happens, and also nonverbal can mean anything less than 50% verbal, it’s a very imprecise term.
