I was only gone 3 days, but still got ludicrously amazing kitty-greetings upon returning! Cora actually rolled over on her back (whilst kneading my leg as we sat on the floor), which is a rare thing for her.

One good thing about traveling is it gets them used to you being away. That’s something Fey seems much mentally healthier for having learned, even though it was incredibly hard for her.
Right now I’ve been getting angry bites everywhere I go, for having the audacity to get meningitis and end up in the hospital. I’ve literally got almost as many scars on my arms from Fey as I do from infiltrated or blown IVs.
