or how to relate to people who have difficulty with…

I’m all for writing about this topic in a concrete way, but the post in question is pretty creepy in its expectations for roommates, is irresponsible in some of its suggestions, and should not be seen as indicative as what all people with HIV/AIDS want in a roommate. There are also many reasons, some of them disability-related, why someone would not be able to act as a roommate as described in that piece.

Please, please, please can we not tout that as an example of How to Be Non-Discriminatory?

Sorry I haven’t even read that post yet.  And I’m in the process of getting a live-in caregiver, too.  Yikes.
