It’s always interesting to me, in a disturbing sort of way, how whenever humans (at least most white, Western scientists, among others) are shown that their criteria for “what separates us from the animals” is wrong… then they just turn around and make up new criteria and act like those criteria have always been the criteria we’ve always used.
