:D olive oil! My hairless rat used to love that - the only problem was he would keep twisting around to try and get the olive-oil-covered finger. so we had to put it on *both* hands.

It actually absorbs into their skin pretty fast. Since their skin tends to the dry side.  Afterwards they just feel silky.

That’s one of the bits of caring you have to do specifically for hairless rats.  Because they don’t have a coat of fur keeping stuff off their skin, they tend to have more skin irritation problems.  So you have to give them a cleaning with water every once in a while and then put olive oil on to keep their skin happy.
