as small as a world and as large as alone

I love it too.  I’m just glad that, at the age of twelve, I was able to pick out something that could serve as such a reminder of my great-grandmother.  Because at the age of twelve, when she died, I was kind of out of touch with a lot of things.  And yet I chose perfectly somehow.  It reminds me of her.  And my grandmother later gave me the jewelry box it came from, which is beautiful in its own right.  (Very simple wood with simple straight lines of inlaid wood.  I’ll try to post a picture at some point.)  But yeah I’m so happy that somehow when I was really too young to choose adequately, I chose adequately anyway, because now I have this lovely reminder of her.  I don’t even think it fit on my finger when I chose it, but now it fits my ring finger perfectly.
