Met this completely badass old-lady-cat whilst erranding today. She was guarding her driveway and gave me a LOOK when I walked by. I stopped and offered her my finger to sniff, which she did, and followed that with a sort of “I’m going to swipe my tail in FRONT of your legs, but not touch them” thing. She then meowed and I meowed back and bid her good day. I don’t know her humans but they are very fortunate.
