Your best is always, always enough — even if what “your best” is changes daily due to energy/spoon loss, etc!

Your health is important, please take care of yourselves. ❤

You also *don’t* always have to do your best. Sometimes good enough is good enough. Don’t have to go all out with everything.

Wish I had Tumblr to tell me all this shit when I was in school because it’s not like anyone else around me would ever have said it.

I wish when I was in school that someone had told me not to care about school or grades at all.  For some reason I couldn’t get that mentality until I read the Harry Potter books.  And when I saw how often they disregarded grades and the rules, I just wished I could have done the same.  I wish I hadn’t tried to get good grades.  I wish I hadn’t tried at all.  School didn’t give me anything meaningful.  I didn’t learn from school, I learned at home.  Well I learned at school, but not about the subjects they taught.  I learned all sorts of things about sociology that they were not teaching.  But anyway, I wish someone had told me to forget about school, forget about grades, it won’t be worth it in the end.  It was just all this energy I wasted that led to an early burnout.  I bet any parents reading this would think I’m a terrible influence, but then they probably didn’t go through what I went through in school.
