I saw my regular doctor yesterday.

And he told me that when they did my spinal tap looking for signs of meningitis, they knew right away something was wrong, because it was actually visibly the wrong color or something.  And that’s besides the number of white blood cells they found (there’s supposed to be none, there were upwards of 2300… normally there’s a marker of “L” for low or “H” for high… this one said “HH”, which is the only time I’ve ever seen that).  This was… not good.  I’m really glad they found it so fast and admitted me and stuff.

I’m still pissed though – I wanted to do IVIG infusions, I wanted to do them really badly, and now they’ll never do them again in my life because they gave me meningitis.  And the other options are more dangerous in their own way.
