It doesn’t look protective to me. It looks like she’s unaware that you’re a person and that you’re also there.

karalianne said: I can sort of see what you mean, but I’ve also been “staffed” (i.e., been treated as a “client” by someone who was staff but not there to be staff) and that really changes your perspective.
