Anonymous asked: How do you feel about professional athletes being Wizards?

I don’t see why they shouldn’t be. (Going back to the general sense that wizards hold down all kinds of jobs…  since it’s mentioned here and there in the series that there’s an ethical prohibition against using wizardry to make yourself rich, and therefore you’ve got to make a living somehow.)

I imagine there would be something of an additional ethical line to walk, in that a wizard who was also a pro athlete would avoid using wizardry to give himself/herself/whateverself an unfair competitive advantage. (Or possibly a wizard who was feeling a bit, shall we say, proactive, might consider temporarily stripping other athletes in a competition of the advantage conferred on them by, say, illegal steroid use. Just as a little wake-up call. Interesting concept…)
