So I forgot to update

But I think the pain in my stoma was caused by gas buildup in my stomach.  When I burped the g-tube, huge amounts of air came out and my stoma quit hurting.  I forgot that air tries to find the path of least resistance in there, so it presses right up against the stoma site if it can manage it.  (When the stoma hadn’t healed around the tube yet, it actually farted sometimes.  Like tiny, high-pitched farts, but definitely fart noises.  It doesn’t do that anymore, fortunately.)
